Japanese, 20th century. A pair of gilt bronze bud vases of baluster form cast with opposing decoration of a rooster or cockerel perched on a cherry tree branch, the bird's neck and tail feather accented with silver, its wattle and feet accented with red, and many of the flowers and buds heightened also with silver. Each with incised signature to side. Approximate height 7".
