Chinese, 20th century. A squat bulbous porcelain jar with tiger mask handles to the high shoulder, decorated allover with cobalt underglaze on white ground depicting a dragon and a qilin in a landscape amid cloud scrolls and foliage with band of lappets to round foot, floral band with chrysanthemum blossoms to shoulder, and geometric bands to narrow neck. Marked in blue underglaze with six character mark to side of foot and underside. Approximate height 15", width across handles 13".
