Chinese, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century. Daoguang style celadon porcelain floor vase in baluster form having a underglaze blue decoration of "100 Antiques" on a light celadon ground with applied Buddhistic lion and cub modeled handles on opposing sides of neck. Underglaze blue mark to the underside, probably indicating the artist. Approximate height 23", diameter of mouth 8". Provenance: Purchased May 30, 1979 from 'Yue Po Chai Curios Store" in Hong Kong as indicated with Certificate of Antiquity. Paperwork indicates production of vase around 1870. Copy of certificate available upon request.
