Chinese, Ming Dynasty Xuande Period mark (1426-1435), circa 20th century. A porcelain low bowl of round form raised on a ring foot decorated with blue underglaze hand painted depicting opposing dual phoenixes to central tondo amid chrysanthemum buds on meandering vines, the cavetto with carved phoenixes in flight under a band of painted blue scrolls, the exterior cavetto with further painted phoenixes and foliates. Underside with six character underglaze blue mark for the Xuande imperial reign. Approximate diameter 9.25", height 2.25".
