Chinese, Qing Dynasty, late 19th century. Chinese rosewood carved tabouret, low or side table having a circular beaded top inset with conforming variegated rouge marble above egg and dart molding and reticulated apron of scrolling cherry blossom raised on foliate carved cabriole legs united by a circular dished undershelf and terminating in webbed claw feet grasping the pearl of wisdom. Approximate height 22.75”, diameter of top 18". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
