American, 19th/20th century. A pair of tufted back demilune parlor chairs, together with a pair of matching love seats or settees, upholstered in yellow, white and blue floral silk and resting on scrolled mahogany legs with carved knees, each with a brass-knobbed latch, interlocking to form a tete-a-tete. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height (as tete-a-tete) 32.35, width 60", length 74", seat depth 18.5", seat to floor 16.5".
