Chinese, Republic Period (1912-1949). A pair of crackle glazed urns or vases comprising a slightly flaring ring foot surmounted by high-shouldered round body issuing incurvate cylindrical neck with flaring rim, with three wide bands of brown glazed geometric etching mimicking roof tiles, and underglaze blue courtly figural scene to body. Each with a brown etched mark to underside referencing the Chenghua Period (1465-1487). Approximate height 16.875", diameter 8.5".
