Chinese, likely 19th century Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). A carved hornbill beak snuff bottle with beak tip sliced to create bottle stopper, the top portion of beak ornately carved in relief depicting two serpentine four-clawed dragons in flight amid cloud scrolls set above stylized waves. Underside of bottle with red resin cap inscribed with four character seal mark, possibly for the Qianlong Period. Approximate height 3.625". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
