Cast and gilt iron figural sculpture in the form a Guanyin, the Buddhist goddess of mercy and compassion, deity figure seated with hand pressed together at chest, calm and pleasant facial expression, three heads at top (circular ring behing upper head), elongated earlobes, and 14 radiating arms holding various weapons and objects, on a lotus base above a oblong domed base on a octagonal plinth. Unmarked. Overall approximate height 13.25", width 8.25", depth 4.6".. Note: Alternate spellings of Quanyin include Guanyin, Guan Yin, Kwan Yin, and Kwanyin.
