Allen, counted among the legendary department stores of the southern United States, each sketch with graphite, colored pencil and watercolor on paper, each sketch depicting women modeling the latest fashions, including one sketch of elaborate mid-century hats in the vein of Grace Kelly. Each sketch of varying sizes, the smallest overall approximately 12" x 10.75"; the largest overall approximately 13.5" x 11".
