Italian, first half 20th century. A large majolica glazed pottery ewer or pitcher of high shouldered turned form raised on a ring foot and having twisted rope form handle to one side opposed by figural fish form spout, the whole with hand painted decoration depicting winged angles supporting a medallion under spout banded by floral garland and inscribed ""A - Rosata" (likely for "acqua rosata" or rosewater. Underside marked "made in Italy / 6011". Approximate height 19", width spout to handle 13.5", diameter of base 7.625".
