Continental, late 19th/ early 20th century. A collection of four hand colored engravings after those done by Francesco Bartolozzi (Italian, 1727-1815) after the paintings by Giuseppe Zocchi (Italian, Florence 1711–1767). Originally published in Venice, Italy by Joseph Wagner (Italian, 1706-1780) in 1761. From a series of twelve months, this collection comprises of "Luglio (July)" which depicts figures scattered about a waterside scene in various stages of repose and play, inscribed lower left "Zocchi Inven" and lower right "F. Bartolozzi Incid Appo Wagner Venezia"; "Agosto (August)" which depicts figures standing and working outside a village dwelling with mountains in the background and chickens in the yard, inscribed bottom left "Zocchi Inven" and bottom right "F. Bartolozzi Incid Appo Wagner Venezia"; "Settembre (September)" which depicts male and female figures within a forest setting apparently picking and sorting fruit, possibly grapes, with a donkey carrying a load on his back toward a structure in the distance, inscribed bottom left "Zocchi Inven" and bottom right "Bartolozzi Scul. appo Wagner in Venezia Con Privileg"; and "Ottobre (October)" which depicts male and female figures along with dogs set beneath sparse trees in the process of perhaps setting up a camping spot or going fishing, inscribed bottom left "Zocchi Inven." and bottom right "Bartolozzi Scul. appo Wagner in Venezia Con Privileg del Ecc".
