French, late 19th century. A Louis XV French Provincial style carved and stained walnut console table, having a serpentine black marble top with a molded edge, atop a conforming apron with a scalloped edge decorated with carved c- and s-scrolls, on four incurvate legs, the front two carved with with decorative edging, acanthus leaves, and c-scrolls, terminating in hoofed paw feet, with a scrolled back stretcher with a central rocaille. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 30.875", width 39", depth 20.875".
