Continental, early 20th century. A gilt and patinated bronze dressing mirror or vanity mirror, the circular looking glass framed by florettes and splayed leaves, the mirror issuing four foliate arms, each arm terminating in grape leaf wax cups and acanthine candlestick holders, the pierced shaft with mirrored griffins, a horned bacchanalian mask and mirrored cornucopias with assorted flowers and fruit, the base with classically rendered figural sculpture depicting a Greek goddess, likely Aphrodite, with laurel wreath and oar in hand on naturalistic base, with black plinth base, apparently unmarked. Overall approximately 24.75" x 24" x 10".
