English, mid to late 19th century. A large stoneware loving cup, having a cylindrical form, with two flanking, foliated handles and a molded foot, with a central transferware decoration, depicting a foliated roundel with a central sheaf of wheat, surrounded by agricultural tools, with flanking male and female figures, and banners reading "INDUSTRY," "PRODUCETH," and "WEALTH," on a burgundy ground with gilt accents. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 7.5", diameter 11.5".
