American, 20th century. A longhorn steer club or lounge chair in the manner of William Mittmann or Wenzel Friedrich, upholstered in chocolate or tobacco leather, the arms and back mounted with 14 graduated steer horns, with a pair of large horns at each shoulder, with a central carved bone decoration and four horn legs. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 50", width 39", depth 40".
