Venetian, late 19th century. A hanging polychromed and giltwood hexagonal lantern in the Venetian Baroque style, having an upper giltwood pierced gallery, over six pierced panels, each with shaped upper and circular lower windows with later bubbled glass panes, mounted in between with pierced trailing floral vines and perched birds, with twelve curved arms with bobeches terminating in giltwood candle cups, and a carved and floral mounted drop. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 30", width 24".
