Continental, likely Dutch, 19th century. A large mahogany burl cabinet, with an arched and molded cornice, carved with draped and scalloped ribbons and rosettes and centered with an acanthus and urn finial, with glazed doors and chamfered sides, atop a conforming chest, with four serpentine drawers and a lower rail, standing on five cabriole legs, each with grotesque mask carved knees, terminating in a claw and ball foot. With patinated brass key escutcheons, each with incised silhouetted portrait roundels, and pierced brass rocaille pulls. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height (to finial) 102", width 79", depth 17.5".
