French, 18th century. A Louis XV style walnut carved canape or settee having a triple molded arched and padded back, the arms with padded elbow rests enclosing the serpentine padded and upholstered seat raised on four front molded slightly cabriole legs united by scroll carved apron and terminating in scrolled toes. The whole covered in salmon colored upholstery. Approximate height 41.75", wdith 77.5" (arm to arm), seat depth 25.25:, seat height 17".
