French, 18/19th century. A carved and polychromed Baroque style doorway, with a over door crest in a serpentine form, with a carved central cartouche or shield, with a scrolled acanthus finial and two scrolled ears, flanked on either side by S-scrolls, each mounted with an oak swag and laurel and berry drops, with garden roses. Apparently unmarked. With two side rails. Approximate height (of crest) 28", width 91", depth 4.5", length (of each side rail) 80.5".
