Continental, 20th century. Pair of polychromed Neoclassical style pedestals, each with a square black overhanging top with gold dentil molding, atop a frieze decorated with swags and foliates, supported by four tapering Corinthian columns at each corner of the conforming column, inset with molding and figural medallions, resting on a square base with gold acanthus tip molding. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 44.875", width 13.625", depth 13.625".
