Queen Anne chinoiserie decorated japanned tall case clock having a molded arched bonnet with two ball and spire finials and painted parcel gilt motif with dragon flies, butterflies, fleur de lis, and fans over the conforming and floral painted glazed door opening to the 8 day brass time and strike works engraved dial with applied seconds and calendar dial, Roman and Arabic numerals within urn spandrels and headed with strike/silent circular dial within brass cast dolphin brackets above the molded arched door having figures in a garden landscape setting with pagoda and waterscape with boats, the molded base decorated with a harbor scene, swans and architecture, the sides with leafy and flowering chrysanthemums.
