Louis C. Tiffany (1848-1933) for Tiffany Studios, circa 1906. A fine "Dogwood" favrile glass and bronze table lamp, surmounted with reticulated heat cap, the shade of dome form with allover dogwood blossom decoration in shades of white, pink and pale pink against green confetti ground, the shade ending in a single geometric band, raised on a three-socket cluster on urn-form standard and square base. Both the shade and base retain very nice original patina. The shade is stamped "TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 1417". The base is stamped "TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 444". Approximate diameter of shade 12". Overall approximate height 19.5", width of base 5.75", depth 5.75". Provenance: Purchased January of 1999 from King Antiques, 1708 Magnolia CT, Decatur, AL where by acquired from the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
