Dino Rosin(Italian, b. 1948), circa 1990s. A substantial Murano and calcedonia blown glass sculpture from the planet or 'Pianeta" series having a egg shaped form enclosing a single elongated teardrop shaped bubble, the calcedonia background depicting deep space with colors ranging from bright yellows to deep purples, light blue to dark cobalt with scattered bubbles. Presented on an oval black glass pedestal. Signed by the artist "Dino Rosin" on side of base. Acid etched stamped to underside of base for "MURANO VENEZIA LOREDONO ROSIN". Approximate height 16.5", width 11".
