Chinese/ Korean, likely mid Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). A rhomboid bronze covered censer of gourd form comprising a slanted square form body with sloping upper and lower corners cast with a series of ribs, the box raised on tripod foot formed of intertwining vines on leaf feet, these leaves inlaid with red, green, blue, and yellow cloisonne enamel, the lid with further leaf and vine form finial surrounding a central aperture, the box horizontally bisected creating a lift off lid that opens to reveal a single interior cavity, with oxidation to well and scorch marks to interior of lid. Apparently unmarked. Approximate overall height 6", width 7.625", depth 6.5".
