American, likely New York, late 19th century. A carved and stained oak library trestle table in the manner of R.J. Horner, with a rectangular parquetry top, acanthus molded edging, and a gadrooned skirt, resting on two shaped supports with scrolled acanthus leaf carving overall and a blank central cartouche, with three urn form support pillars underneath, each with a tapered neck and plumed carving, on a turned base with a beaded border. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 30", width 66", depth 36".
