A lacquered and plastered wood seven panel folding screen mounted in a shadowbox, the red and black lacquered scene bearing a painted and incised landscape scene depicting a palace courtyard and open pagoda with figures throughout engaging in games, conversation, and work, the whort screen comprising seven panels with ogee shaped bracket feet to bottom. Screen approximate height 49.5", width 69.5". Overall approximate height 59.5", width 79.5", depth 3.25".
