A carved rock crystal lidded temple jar converted to a table lamp, the elaborately relief carved green quartz flask with phoenix and smaller birds in a landscape with oversized figural peonies and a fitted lid with layered peonies as finial, the stone raised on a fitted hardwood stand pierce carved with scrolls and key patterning and further raised on a gilt metal stand with molded scrolls issuing at back a cylindrical shaft with single socket at top, with agate finial. Overall approximate height 27.5", width 8.5", depth 4.75".
