Sevres Porcelain Factory (French, founded 1740), mid 19th century. A pair of bleu celeste ground and gilt enamel decorated porcelain covered urns, each having a dome shaped lid with leaf and berry finial over a neck molded with vinery and grape clusters, the shoulders headed with ram masks issuing grapes and vinery, the body centered with hand painted reserves depicting courting scenes in bucolic settings to one side, the reverse with floral composition with butterfly, raised on a spreading socle and gilt bronze berried laurel band resting on a gilt bronze base with four scrolled feet. Each marked under the bronze base blue underglaze double Louis centering "A" with "M" below. Approximate height 16.5", width 8.5".
