Belgian, likely 1850-1870. A double barrel percussion pocket, boot or muff pistol; having one shot per turn off barrel. Pistol has the Belgian Liege proof-mark ELG (in an oval) on the left side of pistol, sheet iron trigger guard, with lovely walnut grips; likely .45 caliber. Approximate barrel length 3.12". Overall length 7.25".
