Persian, late 19th/ early 20th century. A tin glazed earthenware bottle vase comprising flaring ring foot surmounted by high shouldered round body issuing tall cylindrical tapering neck with slightly everted rolled rim, the whole covered in white glaze decorated with many colors in depiction of a pair of birds, a pair of phoenixes, and a clawed beast attacking a deer or antelope all set amid oversized lush greenery and colorful flowers. Unmarked. Approximate height 18", diameter 8".
