Continental, early to mid 20th century. A polychromed circular cast iron planter in the manner of J.W. Fiske and Company (New York, 1864-1970s), having a pierced stand decorated with Neoclassical scrolls, foliates, grape clusters, and grotesque masks, fitted with a conforming polychromed copper insert or liner, resting on three scrolled legs with applied dragons, and a lower pierced tier. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 23.825", diameter 18.5".36
