Old Paris porcelain lidded soup tureen, octagonal in form with a hand-painted scrolled gilt and peach border and gilt edge, with floral bouquets in blue, purple, red, pink, yellow, and green, scrolled gilt handles, and a foliated gilt finial. With maker's mark. Approximate height 10.75", width 14.25", depth 8.3". Provenance: From the Estate of Mr. John Griswold Livingston and Mrs. Clara Dudley Livingston, Lexington, Kentucky and Long Island, New York.
