American, late 19th century. Pair of Aesthetic Movement gilt metal candle prickets, each with a candle cup adorned with three scrolled dragons and acanthus motifs, on a column support with a central stylized foliated band, resting on a tripod base decorated with wolves, beading, and acanthus leaves, on three monopodium ball and claw feet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 28", width 10", depth 10".
