English, early 19th century. A small domed mahogany and satinwood inlaid tea caddy or box, with two inlaid shell roundels to the top and front, and banding to the edges of the lid and front, with an inlaid diamond key escutcheon. The hinged lid opens to reveal a single lidded compartment with a brass pull. Remnants of leaded lining. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 5.2", width 4.6", depth 3".
