Matched pair of Louis XIII style walnut fauteuils having a rectangular padded and upholstered back issuing two acanthus carved, downswept and scroll carved arms enclosing the padded and upholstered seat raised on block and turned legs united by matching front and H-form stretcher supports. Upholstered in green and red French country toile fabric with large decorative nailhead trim. Approximate height 44", width 24.5" (arm to arm), seat depth 20.25", seat height 16".
