French, 19th century. A Louis XV-style two-tiered mahogany and rosewood inlay gueridon, with a top with foliated vine inlay inset with green and red marble, above an apron inlaid with S-scrolls, and a lower circular shelf, each mounted with pressed bronze edging. Supported by four tapering legs mounted with bronze ram's heads and foliage, and ending in hoof feet with acanthus detailing. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 30.1", diameter 21.5".
