Continental, possibly German, 18th/19th century. A burled wood secretary, with an upper cabinet with two drawers beneath two paneled doors, with interior shelves and a molded cornice, atop a married drop-leaf desk above three long drawers, with sliding supports. Drop front or fall opens to reveal a central door with an inlaid escutcheon and sixteen interior drawers. One interior drawer with illegible signature.. Approximate height 79", width 40.6", depth 18.6".
