R. W. Tansill & Company (American (New York, founded 1862), late 19th century. Tansill’s Punch meerschaum mireschem cheroot holder and advertising pipe in the original fitted case. Pipe modeled as a caricature of "Punch" smoking a cigar with the words "TANSLLS PUNCH" in raised letters across the stomach. Case if also marked in the red silk lining "Compliments of Tansill’s Punch Chicago R.W. Tansill CO." Approximate height of pipe 2.25", width 4.5". Approximate height of case 1.75", width 5.5".
