Attributed to Janna Thomas de Velarde (Taxco, Mexico active 1950-1980), for Tiffany & Co, circa 1950s. A multi-blossom flowering stem with gold washing over sterling with a crushed quartz style accented filled sterling basket. The base stamped "Tiffany", "Sterling" and "Mexico". Approximate height 6". Note: Janna Thomas de Velarde had a workshop in Taxco from 1965-1980. She was a designer producing exclusive pieces for Tiffany. One of her master silversmiths was Luis Montes de Oca, who had also worked for Antonio Pineda and William Spratling.
