American, 20th century. A collection of weighted sterling silver items comprising a tazza by Gorham (American (Rhode Island), founded 1865) with a twisted gadrooned rim to the shallow round bowl raised on a baluster stem over spreading ring foot, marked to underside of foot "Gorham / sterling / cement filled / reinforced / with rod / 1103"; a pair of tall candlesticks by Matthews Company (American (New Jersey), 1907-c.1936) of traditional form with spreading ring foot issuing faceted turned form shaft under single candle cup, marked to underside with pictorial maker's mark of an M over a sword, also with "STERLING" and "2185"; and a pair of squat candlesticks with twisted gadroon bands to candle cup and ring foot by Empire Craft Corporation (American (New York), 1930-1950), marked to underside "EMPIRE / STERLING / WEIGHTED". Tazza approximate height 6". Gorham candlesticks approximate height 8.25". Empire candlesticks approximate height 4.5".
