Set of four limited edition sterling silver plates from the Franklin Mint Bird Series of 1972 consisting of "The Cardinal"; "Bobwhite", "American Bald Eagle" and "Mallards". The artwork was designed by Richard Evans Younger, one of America's most prolific wildlife artists. Each plate is marked on raised circular medallion on back "Franklin Mint/ Bird Plate/the title/Solid Sterling Silver, Limited Edition 2324".. Each plate is also accompanied with the Certificate of Authenticity. Approximate diameter 8". Overall approximately 25.32 troy ounces.
