French, 19th century. A gilt bronze and champleve enamel regulator clock, with a four-sided beveled glass case, each corner with a tapered column topped with an urn capital, the top with a small pagoda top, beneath a flowering urn finial, resting on a conforming base and four knob feet, with a suspended enamel dial with Arabic numerals and a champleve border. Impressed with "Black, Starr, & Frost New York" retailer mark, "Medaille D'Argent" silver medal mark, and "Made in France". Approximate height 15", width 7.25", depth 5.4".
