19th century having a shell and foliate scroll-worked crest, the case with glazed sides and a glazed door opening to glass shelves, the lower section decorated with an interior scene, raised on cabriole legs. Height 70 1/4 x width 31 1/2 x depth 15 1/2 inches. Property from the Collection of Sheldon and Carole Sepstead, Grafton, Wisconsin In good, stable, usable condition. Glass to door and sides intact without cracks. Mirror to back likewise intact. Door opens and closes smoothly. Key works lock and locks door but not securely. Interior with two glass and one cloth lined shelf. Exterior with fairly even gilt finish. Some areas of loss to gilt and carving with exposed gesso. Additional images available upon request.
