movement by vincenti & cie, paris the mantel clock having a domed case surmounted by an urn form finial above a circular porcelain dial with Arabic numeral hours and an inset porcelain plaque depicting a courting couple, together with two urns of ovoid form, each depicting a courting couple and raised on a shaped base with an inset porcelain plaque depicting a village scene, raised on scroll feet. Height of clock 14 inches. Property from the Collection of Michael and Nancy McCaskey, Winnetka, Illinois Each in overall good condition. Frames appear to be made out of gilt metal, some other alloy, not bronze. Each with fairly even bright patina throughout. Porcelain parts all intact without chips, cracks or repairs. Clock takes a wind and runs, unsure as to duration or accuracy. With pendulum, no key. Clock strikes on a circular gong at the hour and the half.
