attributed to francois linke, paris, circa 1900 the rectangular top having a shaped pediment above a central door mounted with a dancing muse playing the tambourine over an urn supported by female figures transforming into foliate scrolls and overflowing cornucopias, flanked by glazed and paneled doors mounted with swags and female herms at the corners, the whole raised on toupie feet. Height 62 1/2 x width 57 1/2 x depth 16 1/2 inches. Note: Compare to a cabinet sold at Christie's London, October 28, 2014, Lot 4 In overall good, complete, usable condition. Wood with even finish throughout, only light surface wear consistent with age. Back feet both loose but cabinet stands. All mounts appear present with fairly even slightly dirty patina. Glass panels all intact without cracks. Side sections with glass shelves. Later wiring for lights. Having one key. Interior of lock from central door stamped V.F./Paris with crossed keys brand.
