19th/20th century of handled form, transfer printed to depict figural scenes and foliate decoration. Width 5 1/8 inches. Width 5 1/2 inches. Property from the Estate of Rita Dee Hassenfeld, Palm Beach, Florida Note: the polychrome decoration is transfer printed with hand coloring, and is not hand painted. In good condition. Glass and mirror to interior bottom all intact without cracks or losses. Gilt frame with even bright patina, with some replaced mounts. Doors each open and close smoothly but do not sit complete flush with basket. Additional images available upon request.
