19th century each of hemispherical form, centrally mounted with a stylized and horned head further surmounted by a faceted spike finial, the skull mounted with two plume holders, curved horns and an adjustable nasal guard with cartouche-shaped terminals, further embossed with stylized eyes, a nose, and allover figural and foliate decoration, with remnants of gold damascened decoration throughout. Height of taller 15 inches. Property from the Estate of William Moulis, Geneva, Illinois Each in decent, stable condition without major dents. Both with light/moderate surface rust. Some elements loose. Retains only a percentage of original decoration. Additional images available upon request.
