20th century comprising two reticulated dinner plates, 14 reticulated luncheon plates, 15 teacups and saucers, each painted to show highly realistic botanical specimens, the underside with the underglaze blue waves mark and some with the Royal Copenhagen transfer printed mark; 46 items total. Diameter of dinner plate 9 7/8 inches. Property from the Estate of Rita Dee Hassenfeld, Palm Beach, Florida In good, stable condition overall. Minor general wear to the gilt accents. Dinner plates: One plate with five minor chips to the edge, as well as two hairline cracks visible from the reverse. The other plate with no visible chips or cracks, and scattered instances of pitting to the reverse. Luncheon plates: Light wear to the gilt accents. Scattered areas of surface rubbing and loss to the painted decoration. Two of the luncheon plates have a minor chip to their edge. Teacups: One teacup has a minor area of gilt to the white ground. Saucers: Four saucers with irregular instances of painted decoration. Examination under UV light reveals no evidence of restoration or repair.
