$125
19th century each modeled as a classical woman holding a cornucopia form candle arm issuing a fluted candle cup, with impressed Wedgwood mark to the underside. Height 11 inches. Property from the Estate of William Moulis, Geneva, Illinois Each in fair condition overall. One candlestick is loose where the socle meets the square base. The same candlestick with a chip to the underside of the drip pan and several repaired breaks to the square plinth. The other candlestick with scattered minor instances of surface loss and grime accumulation to the cornucopia form candle arm, along with a repaired break to the cornucopia. Evidence of surface wear surrounding the hems of both maidens' dresses. Examination under UV light causes the repaired breaks to fluoresce, as well as patches to one maiden's face, suggesting areas of retouch.
